Creation Vortex

September 3, 2017

This is one of my favorite pieces, when I first turned to Acrylic paint from Watercolor I realized how much control I finally had over the paint, which made details MUCH easier.

So, I wanted to have some fun with details!

In preparation, I studied about optical illusions and illusory motion and spent 3 hours just sketching in pencil (and mostly erasing) this whole thing out.

The gradient was super fun to do but then going back over all the white and cleaning it up was intense! Tons of detail work is just what I got :)

Love how this came out, now really looking into some solid ways that I can start to mount my pieces so they look professional.

Any thoughts?
