Being IN your body.

In 2014, Jolie Dawn and I hosted a women’s event called Inner Goddess Unleashed.

We had incredible speakers and vendors and 120 women gathered in celebration of living their best life. Jess Johnson came on at the end and played some magical music and I remember her saying something random on stage that really stuck with me.

She was moving and stretching her body and then said, "I really enjoy being in my body".

That really stuck out to me and I thought about what it meant for a while. I still think about it all the time, two years later.

To be IN your body.

The inquiry has supported me on an awesome journey of relating with my own body. Honoring it as an extension of my self-love. Being in my body has also been a huge part of my healing with UC and helped me tremendously in transforming physical pain into healing.

Now, this way is regular life, and I’m finding myself more grounded, and more deeply connected to my intuition. More loving to myself, more compassionate, and more in harmony with my body. Because now we work together as a team.

Today I found this Eckhart Tolle quote and I completely lit up.. “Underneath your outer form, you are connected with something so vast, so immeasurable and sacred, that it cannot be conceived or spoken of — yet I am speaking of it now. I am speaking of it not to give you something to believe in but to show you how you can know it for yourself.”

Seriously, know this for yourself <3

And thank you sister Jess Johnson for the inspiration, your light radiates to infinite unexpected crevices <3
